THE CASE
Days before Halloween, a historic portrait disappears from the Schorlwick Museum of History & Art. Then a child finds a locked cryptex bearing a familiar emblem. By Halloween, the investigation is already underway.
Welcome to Schorlwick. Beneath the pumpkins and costumes lies a trail of old photographs, conflicting accounts and Black family secrets. Follow the evidence. Make the connections. Find out what this town is hiding.
PRINT. BUILD. INVESTIGATE.
A mystery bundle, delivered digitally. Print the paper clues and explore the objects in the app. For the full hands-on experience, bring them to life with a 3D printer.
Download the PDFs and print the photographs, witness accounts and evidence. Spread them out and connect the details to build your own picture of what happened.
A 3D printer is optional: you can explore the objects using the app's 3D preview. For the full experience, use the included files to print the puzzle objects, including a cryptex, and hold the mystery in your hands.
Open the companion app on your phone to enter discoveries and reveal the next piece of the story. Your printed clues and the app work together throughout the case.

BEFORE YOU OPEN THE FILE
3D-printable puzzle files, printable case documents and access to a web companion that guides key moments of the investigation. The final contents will be confirmed for the Gamefound campaign.
A paper printer for the case documents and a phone or tablet with internet access for the companion app. A 3D printer is not required: the app includes a 3D preview of the objects. We recommend printing the props for the full hands-on experience. Prepare your paper clues and any optional 3D-printed objects before playing.
The planned release is a digital self-print bundle. Print the paper evidence at home. The puzzle objects can be explored with the app's 3D preview, or 3D printed for the full hands-on experience.
Solo investigators and small groups who enjoy hands-on puzzles, deduction and atmospheric mysteries. The story contains crime, death and darker themes. The final age guidance will be confirmed after playtesting.
